2023-2025 Board Nominations Process is Open

Exciting news: We're officially opening up nominations for our Board of Directors! As we continue to champion our mission in the globally mobile space, we're seeking passionate and proactive individuals who can be positive catalysts for change.

At our core, we believe that our work has never been more critical than it is today, and we're on the lookout for dedicated Board members who share the same values and are committed to making a difference.

We are proud to invite candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply, as we believe that a collective of voices and perspectives can facilitate deeper and more meaningful solutions. What is the FIGT Board of Directors?

FIGT’s Board of Directors is responsible for both the execution and governance of FIGT’s mission and strategy. It is a working Board - not only an advisory one - and it is composed of volunteer Board members elected for 2-year terms amongst FIGT members. All Board Directors and committee members are voluntary positions.

    We are currently accepting applications for five Board Director positions. Follow the links below for detailed role descriptions below. The submission deadline is June 2, 2023.

      What are the requirements to apply for a Director position?

      • Must be an FIGT member  * Please note that, if selected, you would have to become a registered member of FIGT
      • Must have:
      • Attended an FIGT Annual conference
      • OR been an active FIGT volunteer for any length of time
      • Ability to commit to the hours of volunteer work for a Board position role
      • Attend the monthly virtual General Board Meetings
      • Attend the FIGT Conferences
      • Prior experience working with cross-cultural teams
      • Prior experience working online using collaborative platforms such as Google Drive, Zoom, WhatsApp, and Doodle
      • Readiness to learn new online platforms if required
      • Available for on-boarding training during August and September 2023

      How will the Nominations Process work?

      Please complete the application form below by June 2, 2023, and don't forget to attach your resume or a link to your LinkedIn profile. The 2023 Nominations Committee will review all applications and select candidates for interviews. After obtaining Board approval, the final candidate slate will be presented to members in late July 2022, with onboarding sessions for new Board Members taking place during August and September. The new Board term will officially begin on October 1, 2023.
