LaShell (Shelly) Tinder

LaShell (Shelly) Tinder has both personal and professional experience in relocation that span three decades. As an accompanying spouse for 11 years, LaShell raised three TCKs who were born in the US, Belgium, and Venezuela. She began her work in mobility helping accompanying spouses/partners as a career/transition coach before moving into relocation management for RMCs and corporations. Currently, she is the Global Mobility Manager for North America at H&M. LaShell drives operational efficiencies as a project and program manager with breadth and depth of experience in assignment management, immigration law, and expatriate tax compliance, and is well versed in policy development, client engagement, training & development, career/transition coaching & counseling, and data risk management. LaShell's fiduciary responsibility includes managing budgets and driving procurement & implementations. LaShell is a collaborative partner and focuses on maintaining a shared accountability relationship with colleagues and supplier CRMs.

While living abroad, LaShell developed a global mindset and gained complete fluency in Spanish. She strives to be a thought-leader in any environment and looks for strategic approaches to achieve results and add value when working with customers, vendor partners, and colleagues. She speaks at mobility events including FIGT, ERC, FEM and Global News HR conferences and was deeply engaged in expatriate groups while living abroad to help others in the assimilation process. Outside of mobility, she has volunteered for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, and produced/published 5 school yearbooks at British Schools in Venezuela and Ecuador.
