Rita Rosenback is an author, coach, blogger and speaker on the topic of raising bilingual children. She studied languages in Finland and Germany and has worked as an editor, translator, language teacher at university and prior to dedicating herself full-time to writing and coaching she was leading diverse, multinational teams in the corporate environment. Rita was born into a bilingual family in Finland and speaks Swedish and Finnish as a native, and is fluent in English and German with some knowledge of Punjabi and French. Rita’s book is called “Bringing up a Bilingual Child” http://multilingualparenting.com/book/book/ and she is the founder of www.multilingualparenting.com, a resource for parents about the intricacies of juggling more than one language in a family. Rita is also a board member of Multicultural Kid Blogs (www.multiculturalkidblogs.co) and an Intercultural Youth Trainer. Her free time Rita loves to spend playing with her grandson or on long hikes in the Peak District with her husband, always with a camera at the ready.
