Do you want to develop your writing and communications skills? Apply to the Parfitt Pascoe Writing Residency for a partial scholarship to the FIGT Conference in The Hague, March 8-10, 2018.
The Parfitt Pascoe Writing Residency began in 2014. It is now wholly supported and funded by Jo Parfitt and Robin Pascoe, themselves regulars at FIGT since the outset and both writers dedicated to creating and promoting content about global families in transition.

Tone Indrelid, PPWR 2017 says:
"I have been offered (and have accepted) a place on a blogging platform called The Turban Times, starting September. Their focus is on the MENA region and their aim is to publish material you don't usually find in mainstream Middle East media. I'm just delighted with the opportunity to get back into writing about Oman, from a semi-academic angle.
While this is perhaps not a direct consequence of my FIGT participation or connections made there, I would never have picked it up without the PPWR. For starters, I wouldn't have had the guts to reach out to them suggesting an Oman section, but more importantly, I wouldn't have had much to 'sell' them on my own. So - thank you, again, for believing in me and helping me grow, so much, these past months!”
Applications are now closed.
A big thank you to everyone who applied. Jo Parfitt will be in contact with you shortly. Questions? Please email admin@figt.org
