Non-Profit Organization / Part Time / Paid Role (5 years+ experience)
Families in Global Transition (FIGT) is a welcoming forum for globally mobile individuals,
families, and those working with them. We promote cross-sector connections for sharing
research and developing best practices that support the growth, success and well-being of
people crossing cultures around the world.
FIGT, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the US, is almost entirely
volunteer-run by board and committee members across the globe and multiple time zones.
The Operations Lead is the sole paid member and is an integral part of the organization and
supports the board and committees in running all aspects of the organization.
Now we are looking for an experienced talent with a proven track record in administration
roles preferably familiar within Non-Profit organizations.

As Operations Lead, you would work collaboratively with board and executive committee
members. Most of the core responsibilities are related to FIGT communications, such as
stakeholder management and membership management and administration skills.
Whilst your role is effectively managing the combination of “soft” and “hard” skills, but not
limited to
Key Qualifications:
- Effective and clear communication in English,
- Ability to work well with culturally and linguistically diverse teams,
- A strong interest in self-learning,
- A keen eye for details,
- Ability to learn/manage various software technologies including Google products
- as the main document repository,
- Self-disciplined to work with deadlines in a remote way of work,
- Advanced time management skills.
What do we offer:
This is a part-time and remote job contract that requires a flexible schedule and sense of
urgency to work with volunteer members on various topics. Typical work week is 8-10 hours
with peak periods associated with pre/post the annual event and some months when the
pace is slower.
