Launched by Relocate Global in 2007 as the very first awards scheme for the global mobility and relocation sector, the Relocate Awards recognize excellence, celebrate the contribution of relocation to business, and reward best practice. The Relocate Awards have grown and evolved into a global brand, attracting more entries every year, from both UK and international organizations. Between them, they honor individuals, teams, policy and innovation, with categories for both HR and service providers.
This year, Families in Global Transition (FIGT) was hailed the winner of the Relocate Award for "Excellence in Employee and Family Support". This entry was praised by the judges as “a genuine case of the best of human nature creating a massively successful entity”.
FIGT’s entry focused on its major annual conference and resource-sharing at this stimulating three-day event. The judges felt that a real sense of compassion and empathy flowed from this conference, which served to highlight the immense sense of community, information sharing and networking of like-minded people within this organization. Ever since the Relocate Awards ceremony in May 2019, the award has been traveling the world to be shared with the entire FIGT community. FIGT member Amel Derragui is bringing the award from New York City to Washington DC this week. Join us to celebrate this great achievement with the FIGT-DC community!
