Coffee and Connect with Trisha Carter

Date: Friday, May 1, 2020

Time: 2:30 pm AEST

Location: Online (via Zoom)

Cost: FREE. Open to all.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are launching ‘FIGT Coffee & Connect’, a series of short online meetups to allow our community to simply connect and share in these challenging times.

Each Coffee & Connect session will be hosted by an FIGT Board member or Committee volunteer and will include a special guest, who will offer some brief insights from their area of expertise or experience.

So, you can show up in our pajamas, or with your kids in the background, or cooking dinner or wherever you are at the time and just be with us.

We will try to provide sessions across a range of time zones in the coming weeks, depending on volunteer availability.

Hosted by Ginny Philps with special guest Trisha Carter who will share some thoughts on wellbeing.

Trisha Carter is a Registered Psychologist with a Masters degree majoring in organizational psychology from the University of Canterbury (NZ) working with a focus on cross-cultural psychology. Having worked in HR and in the global mobility industry and lived and worked in New Zealand, China and now Australia she understands the challenges organizations face as they move their employees globally while balancing cost and performance outcomes.

She also understands the challenges employees and their families face as they move between countries and cultures and supports them to develop the skills they need to transition well, perform effectively and support their wellbeing in complex situations.
