Coffee and Connect with Ruth Van Reken

Date: Tuesday, May 19, 2020

Time: 10:00 am EDT (New York)

Location: Online (via Zoom)

Cost: FREE. Open to all.
In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are launching ‘FIGT Coffee & Connect’, a series of short online meetups to allow our community to simply connect and share in these challenging times.

Each Coffee & Connect session will be hosted by an FIGT Board member or Committee volunteer and will include a special guest, who will offer some brief insights from their area of expertise or experience.

So, you can show up in our pajamas, or with your kids in the background, or cooking dinner or wherever you are at the time and just be with us.

We will try to provide sessions across a range of time zones in the coming weeks, depending on volunteer availability.

Hosted by Megan Norton with special guest Ruth Van Reken.

Ruth Van Reken is a US citizen who grew up in Nigeria as a second-generation Third Culture Kid (TCK) and raised her three daughters in Liberia For over thirty years Ruth has traveled extensively speaking about issues related to global family lifestyles.
