Coffee and Connect with Bridget Romanes

Date: Wednesday, May 27, 2020

Time: 1:00 pm AEST (Sydney, Australia)

Location: Online (via Zoom)

Cost: FREE. Open to all.
In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are launching ‘FIGT Coffee & Connect’, a series of short online meetups to allow our community to simply connect and share in these challenging times.

Each Coffee & Connect session will be hosted by an FIGT Board member or Committee volunteer and will include a special guest, who will offer some brief insights from their area of expertise or experience.

So, you can show up in our pajamas, or with your kids in the background, or cooking dinner or wherever you are at the time and just be with us.

We will try to provide sessions across a range of time zones in the coming weeks, depending on volunteer availability.

Hosted by Trisha Carter with special guest Bridget Romanes who will share some thoughts on global mobility

Bridget Romanes is a global mobility practitioner and strategist with a background as a diplomat, entrepreneur communicator, and analyst. She is the founder of Mobile Relocation which works with businesses to set expat talent up for success in New Zealand.

Expat wellbeing is her personal interest, and Bridget has partnered with expat mental health specialist, Dr Sonia Jaeger, to deliver a series of award-winning wellbeing workshops to expats in businesses throughout New Zealand. These have been adapted and are now being delivered virtually to help expats cope with the challenges of the COVID-19 world.

Ongoing learning and thought leadership key to Mobile's mission. Bridget presents on global mobility in New Zealand and internationally, and her work has been published by The Employee Mobility Institute (TEMI) and in the textbook Talent Management in Small Advanced Economies.
