Relocating abroad is a significant life change. Luckily, most international employers use a relocation company to coordinate the global mobility of their employees. An appointed Relocation Coordinator supports expats partly or fully during the process. People working in the Global Mobility industry have genuine aspirations to help their clients.

During this session we will talk about relocation support and how to get the very best out of it, even if you have moved several times before. Kati will be giving tips and hints on what could make the process smoother and communication with Relocation Coordinator fluid. If you are moving without this support, Kati has some great advice on good transitions.

Please email: UK@figt.org and the zoom link will be sent to you ahead of the meeting.

My name is Kati and I am a Global Mobility professional with some 10 years of experience. Originally from Finland, I have lived, studied and worked in the Netherlands since 2005. I am a single mom to two children. They are trilingual and attend a local Dutch school. My career in global mobility started in 2011 and since then I have gained experience in relocation immigration and shipments. I have a MA degree in Comparative Religion from the University of Helsinki and a certificate of Global Mobility Officer from the Expatise Academy in the Netherlands. Besides my native Finnish, I am fluent in English and Dutch. I love working in Global Mobility because everyone moving abroad has a different story to tell. Being passionate about supporting international companies and their expats, my way of working is client focused, empathic and pro-active. This work is all about people.
