Workshop Description:

In the present global economy, it is necessary for individuals to determine how they can utilize their global understanding to rebrand their effectiveness. The learnings and experiences of expatriated individuals often is not positioned to continue their success. This workshop will outline 5 specific strategies that individuals can develop so they rebrand for increased effectiveness, happiness, job satisfaction and career success. It will enable participants develop specific forward actions, identify limiting behaviors and clarify methods which transition to higher levels of capability.

About the Facilitator:

Philip A. Berry is President of Philip Berry Associates LLC, a management consulting firm focusing on executive coaching, personal branding, global talent development, leadership training and global diversity  Philip has worked in over 60 countries. As the former Vice President of Global Workplace Initiatives and Corporate Officer for Colgate-Palmolive, Philip led the company’s diversity & inclusion strategy.   He was also the Global VP for Employee Relations & Best Place to Work.  Philip lived in Paris as VP for HR Europe and in prior VP roles served Russia, Africa/Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.   Prior to joining Colgate-Palmolive, Philip worked at Procter & Gamble.   He also is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for City University.    Philip is the author of “Being Better Than You Believe: 8 Steps to Ultimate Success”; and several articles on leadership, diversity and motivation.  Philip received his MBA from Xavier University of Cincinnati and his M.S.W from Columbia University.

FIGT has reserved a block of rooms at the nearby Courtyard Silver Spring Downtown for $199.00 USD per night for March 19-20, 2013 in addition to a room block for the nights of March 21-23, 2013 for $139.00 USD per night (excluding local and state taxes). This hotel is in walking distance to the Silver Spring Civic Building.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your conference registration you must do so prior to March 13, 2013. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. After March 13, FIGT is unable to refund any registration fees. If you are unable to attend the conference and would like to transfer your registration to another attendee, there will be a $25 administrative fee to complete that transaction.
