Facilitated by Leila Buck
Please note that registration closes March 15th
Date: March 21, 2013
Location: Silver Spring Civic Building | Silver Spring, MD
Workshop Description:
How do stories affect our cross-cultural interactions? Which of the many cultural narratives we encounter do we choose to hold onto or pass on to our children? How do these decisions come to shape us as individuals, families, and wider communities? In this interactive session, professional storyteller, diplomat’s daughter and international cross-cultural educator Leila Buck will guide participants through activities and discussion exploring stories as a tool for understanding and navigating challenges in cultural transitions and interactions, and deepening cross-cultural understanding and connection. All activities will be tailored to the particular needs and interest of the group.
