Launch of the US Midwest FIGT Affiliate

FIGT began with four ladies around a kitchen table, looking for a way to share their experiences of being globally mobile and living a life in transition. 

After attending the Global Gathering in July 2025 to celebrate our founder, Ruth Van Reken's birthday, several of us were inspired to create an opportunity to once again gather in person to do what we do best - engage in meaningful conversations, create real connections, and enjoy time with others who share an interest in global mobility, intercultural living, and international transitions. 

Please help us get the word out about this exciting new Affiliate. We hope to meet 2-4 times per year, depending on the availability of US Midwest Affiliate members.  NOTE: participation in FIGT Affiliate activities does not require membership in FIGT; however, they serve as an effective way to build our network and welcome people to an organization they might not have found otherwise.
