FIGT DC Affiliate Meeting

Join the Families in Global Transition (FIGT) DC Affiliate to discuss the challenges and opportunities during school transitions. This interactive workshop will feature experts in international education, facilitate conversations on managing the move, and provide resources for families at all stages of school transition.

Experts Include:

• Hannah Marie Morris, PhD. of Intercultural Transitions - Facilitating identity development programming for globally mobile students as they prepare educational transitions between schools, to university, and beyond.
  
• Helen Atkinson, International Educator for British Schools Overseas - Supporting educational institutions and families as they identify and manage education transitions, especially in the international environment.
  
• Katie Holloran of International Diagnostic Solutions - Working with international families directly, as well as supporting the entire IDS therapeutic and educational team who provides support to children and families across the globe.
  
• Michelle Goldshlag of Cultured Kids - Providing educational programming for schools to help students develop a global perspective and cultural empathy.
